On October 24, 2026, the II Multi-Event Shooting Competition for Uniformed Services, held for the Chief Commander of Police Cup, concluded at the range of the 1st Warsaw Armored Brigade named after Tadeusz Kościuszko. The competition involved 29 teams from various uniformed forces from across the country, as well as individual shooters. The event was organized to commemorate the centenary of sports in the Police, with the aim of popularizing shooting disciplines and facilitating the exchange of experiences between services.
In the team classification, the team from the Bydgoszcz Provincial Police Headquarters (KWP) took third place. The team consisted of officers from the Staff and Training Department: Inspector Robert Miękczyński, Subcommissar Dawid Grzywiński, and Junior Senior Inspector Mariusz Augustynowicz. The competition featured five events: precision pistol, center-fire pistol, side-fire carbine, center-fire carbine, and side-fire revolver. Participants used firearms and ammunition provided by the organizers, which, according to sources, posed an additional challenge due to their lack of familiarity with the equipment.
Subcommissar Dawid Grzywiński also achieved individual successes. He placed third in the overall shooter classification. In the additional Shoot-Off event, designated for the best athletes in the tournament, the officer from Bydgoszcz won first place. The organizers of the event were the Office of the Chief Commander of Police, the management of the Polish Police team, and the Metropolitan Provincial IPA Group – Mostowskis’ Palace Region.
