The Film Discussion Club (Dyskusyjny Klub Filmowy) operating at Dom Sztuki in Warsaw's Ursynów district announces the next edition of its film cycle, which will run from September 24 to December 17, 2026. The organizers have prepared a lineup of seven films, combining the latest premieres with classics of Polish and world cinema. Screenings will traditionally take place on Wednesday evenings, and interested parties can purchase passes providing access to all sessions.

Screening Schedule

The cycle will open on September 24, 2026, with the American film "Invitation" directed by Olivia Wilde. A few weeks later, on October 8, the Greek-German-Hungarian production "Kura" directed by György Pálfi will appear on the big screen. According to the organizer's announcement, changes were made to the repertoire regarding this title. The next position on the calendar is "Nadzór" (Supervision) directed by Wiesław Saniewski, to be shown on October 22. This film dates from 1983 and is part of Polish cinema's legacy.

The upcoming winter will bring, among others, the Chinese-Hong Kong-Taiwanese drama "Raise the Red Lantern" directed by Yimou Zhang from 1991, on November 5. Two weeks later, on November 19, a screening of the American title "Tony" directed by Matt Johnson is planned. The season will conclude with two Polish accents: on December 3, Andrzej Wajda's "Samson" from 1961 will be shown, and on December 17, the Japanese-Polish-British film "Sepia Landscape" directed by Kei Ishikawa will close the cycle.
