On 23 October 2026, the Central Statistical Office (GUS) published data concerning the labor market situation. The information contains detailed figures on the number of registered unemployed persons and the values of the registered unemployment rate. The presented data refer to the situation at the end of September 2026.

The publication includes an analysis based on two territorial classification systems. On the one hand, the data are arranged according to the statistical division of the country, based on the NUTS 2016 revision. On the other hand, the administrative territorial division of the country (TERYT) was applied. This allows users to compare results within different administrative and statistical division structures.

The downloadable materials are available in an XLSX file, 0.04 MB in size. This file contains tables with key indicators. In addition to current data, GUS provides access to a historical archive containing monthly information ranging from January 2002 to August 2026. Such a broad time range allows for tracking long-term trends in the dynamics of registered unemployment. The publication also includes definitions of key concepts, such as registered unemployed persons and the registered unemployment rate, ensuring consistent interpretation of the presented values.
