Bemowskie Centrum Kultury invites you to an event titled "Is AI a Threat?", scheduled for November 20, 2026. The meeting, scheduled from 18:30 to 20:00, will be the final highlight of the "On Pathology in the Network" series. The organizers will focus on analyzing the impact of artificial intelligence on cybersecurity and the daily functioning of public institutions. Participation in the lecture and Q&A session will be possible upon prior reservation of seats, and entry is free of charge.
Expert from NASK-PIB
The key figure of the evening will be Daniel Kierepka, Director of the Computing and Telecommunications Department at NASK-PIB. In the lecture section, the expert will explain the specifics of working at the National Cybersecurity Centre and the scope of his duties. Special attention will be paid to the changes that the development of artificial intelligence introduces into operational procedures and the daily work of the institution. The lecture aims to present a practical perspective, answering the question of how new technologies translate into real actions in the field of cyberspace protection.
Discussion and the role of content creators
After the presentation delivered by the special guest, a Q&A session will take place. The conversation will be led by internet creators known as Dama Kier and the authors of the Tytanowy Cast podcast. During this part of the meeting, the topic of opportunities and threats associated with implementing AI will be discussed. Participants will have the opportunity to ask questions, while the leading theme of the discussion will remain the titular thesis about the potential threat from artificial intelligence and the factors determining the answer to this question.
Closing the Series
The event marks the conclusion of the entire "On Pathology in the Network" series, which focused on conscious and responsible internet usage. The organizers encourage both regular attendees of previous meetings and new viewers to join this final conversation. The goal is a shared reflection on the changes taking place in the digital environment and the role of state institutions in responding to new technological challenges.
