Residents of the Wawer district, particularly those in Marysin, have the opportunity to discover Anna Korszla's work at the opening of an exhibition titled “Joy of Creation” (Radość stworzenia). The event is scheduled for 20 November 2026, from 18:00 to 19:00, at WCK Filia Marysin located at 119/123 Korkowa Street. The exhibition opening will take place in the ground-floor auditorium of the facility. Admission to the vernissage is free, making this event an accessible cultural proposition for a wide audience.

The Artist's Four Cycles

The exhibition presents Anna Korszla's paintings, divided into four distinct thematic series. The first is the “Foliage Series” (Seria liściowa), in which the central motif consists of leaves surrounded by a rope ornament. According to the description, the vein system of the depicted leaves is also constructed from this same rope ornament.

The second cycle is the “Portrait Series” (Seria portretowa). As sources indicate, the portraits in this part of the exhibition were executed in pencil in the 1990s. In 2022, these works were complemented with colour using oil pastels, giving them a new visual dimension.

The third series is titled “Birds, Fish, Water Fleas in the Green Thicket” (Ptaki, ryby, rozwielitki w zielonej gęstwinie). These depictions show green creature-bushes in which figures of birds, fish, and water fleas are hidden. The final, fourth part of the display is the “Earth Spirits and Sky Spirits” (Duchy ziemi i Duchy niebios) series. In this cycle, figures built from small circles resembling atoms appear, surrounded by nature also created from the same geometric elements.
