Digitization of Courts
The Ministry of Justice is implementing the digital transformation of the judiciary based on the Digital Court and Digital Registers programmes. In 2026, the functionality of the Information Portal of Courts of General Jurisdiction was expanded, introducing electronic filing of selected procedural documents and service of correspondence to additional groups of users. The e-Protokół system is also being developed, enabling digital recording of court hearing proceedings. Modernization of courtroom equipment and Friendly Hearing Rooms is planned.
Electronic Proceedings and Registers
In line with the assumptions of the regulations being prepared, from 2028 commercial proceedings and proceedings in the field of intellectual property are to be conducted in electronic form. The Digital Registers programme includes, among others, the National Court Register, the National Criminal Register, the National Insolvency Register, land registers, and other public registers. In 2026, new services related to land registers and the National Court Register were made available in the mObywatel app.
