Oliwia Mosek's Medals at the IV World Police and Fire Games in the Dominican Republic

From October 25 to 30, 2026, the IV World Police Games, organized by the Union of Sport of the International Police (USIP), took place in Santo Domingo, the capital of the Dominican Republic. The event gathered nearly 600 athletes from 32 countries, and the official opening ceremony was performed by the country's president, Luis Abinader. The Polish Police sent a team of 19 athletes and two coaches to the games, supported by the chairman of the Polish Police Sports Federation.

One of the main heroes of the tournament for the Polish delegation was Sergeant Oliwia Mosek. This officer made history at these games by winning two medals in swimming events. She secured a bronze medal in the 100-meter breaststroke, which was the first medal for the Polish team at these championships. Mosek was also part of the women's 4 x 50-meter freestyle relay team, which won a silver medal. Polish swimmers took home another silver in the 4 x 50-meter medley relay, significantly enriching the country's medal haul.

Competition within the games took place across seven sports disciplines, including athletics (including the 10 km run), swimming, judo, shooting, volleyball, basketball, and golf. In the final classification, the Chinese delegation won, ahead of the hosts from the Dominican Republic and the Czech Republic. The Polish Police team finished in 12th place in the medal table, winning a total of seven medals during these international competitions.
