During the competition held at the TAURON Arena Kraków, Assistant Inspector Daniel Zaręba from the Ostrołęka Municipal Police Headquarters achieved a significant sporting success. The officer won the title of Polish Police Champion in the pointfighting formula, securing a gold medal in this category. His tournament haul was complemented by a silver medal in the kicklight formula in the under 89 kg weight class.

The event took place on 22 and 23 October of the current year. It was organized as part of the Power Festival, commemorating the 100th anniversary of sport in the Police. The championships were organized by the Federation of Polish Police Sport, and the competitors vied on a professional ring in front of a large audience.

Assistant Inspector Zaręba is not a novice athlete. For years, he has consistently combined his daily police service with activity in combat disciplines. According to sources, the officer has stood on the podium of national sporting events on multiple occasions. His medal collection includes trophies from the Polish Championships, Polish Cups, and the Polish Uniformed Services Championships, both in kickboxing and Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In addition to competing, Zaręba also serves as a coach, sharing his knowledge with his protégés.
