On Tuesday, October 20, police officers from the Criminal Division of the Pułtusk County Police Command and officers from the Division for Combating Pseudo-Fan Hooliganism of the Warsaw Capital Police Command conducted a joint operation targeting the local drug trade. The actions were based on previous operational findings, which allowed them to identify the specific location of suspects involved in trafficking controlled substances.

During the search of an apartment in Pułtusk, officers secured impressive quantities of psychoactive substances. According to the police, the officers found over 20 kilograms of drugs. Equipment used for weighing and measuring substances was also discovered on the premises, confirming the commercial nature of the ongoing business. Additionally, cash was secured in the apartment, which investigators believe likely originated from the illegal sale of goods.

Two people were arrested as a result of the operation: a woman and a man. The prosecutor charged both suspects with possession of significant quantities of narcotics and psychotropic substances. Under current regulations, this crime carries a penalty of imprisonment for a period of 2 to 10 years. Based on a request from investigators, supported by the collected evidence, the court decided to apply a preventive measure in the form of a three-month temporary detention for the arrested individuals.
