During an operation conducted by the criminal departments of Pułtusk and the Warsaw Metropolitan Police Headquarters, authorities thwarted drug trafficking in one of the residential premises in Pułtusk. As a result of the search carried out on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, officers seized over 20 kilograms of narcotic and psychotropic substances. Weighing equipment and cash were also found at the scene, which, according to investigators, confirms the commercial nature of the suspects' activities.
The woman and man detained in this case have already been charged by the prosecution with possessing significant quantities of narcotics. The Penal Code prescribes a penalty of up to 10 years in prison for the crime they committed. Considering the investigators' request based on the collected evidence, the court decided to impose three months of pre-trial detention on both individuals.
The police action was based on materials produced during earlier operational activities, which allowed for the precise identification of the location where the drugs were stored. The cooperation between officers from the county command in Pułtusk and the metropolitan Police aimed to strike at the organized distribution of illegal substances in the Mazovia region.
