Intensive infrastructure modernization is currently underway on Line 29 of the railway network, between Mostówka and Ostrołęka. The project will culminate in the resumption of train services in December 2026. The works, carried out by various contractors including the specialized PUN machine, involve the comprehensive replacement of the track surface and the reconstruction of stations and passenger platforms. According to announcements from the infrastructure manager, regular train operations will resume on December 13, 2026. This is expected to reduce travel times and improve transport safety in the Mazovia region.
