Officer from the Piaseczno traffic police stopped a Mercedes driver for inspection. On Tarczyńska Street in the village of Many, he was driving at a speed of 160 km/h, despite the applicable speed limit being 90 km/h. The detained 52-year-old had on his record not only a drastic speed limit violation but also a more serious crime – driving a vehicle despite a decision to revoke his driving license. The entire legal process concluded surprisingly quickly, and the court announced the sentence just a few dozen hours after the man was stopped.

During a routine check, police officers noticed a vehicle moving significantly faster than the law allows. A speed measurement device confirmed their suspicions, showing a reading of 160 km/h in a zone limited to 90 km/h. After stopping the vehicle, the officers checked the driver's status in the police information systems. It turned out that the 52-year-old did not have the right to drive vehicles, as an administrative decision had previously been issued to revoke his license. In connection with the crime defined in Article 180a of the Penal Code, the officers prevented the man from continuing his journey and took him to a police cell.

The Tarczyn Police Station took immediate action to collect evidence and initiate the expedited procedure. Thanks to this judicial mode, the case reached the Grójec District Court very quickly. The judges reviewed the indictment and issued a sentence within a few dozen hours of the driver being stopped.
