Day One: Lectures and Procedures
The first day of the training program was theoretical in nature. The tactics of technical-criminal and investigative activities at the scene of a terrorist incident, the methodology of crime scene inspections, and procedures related to the use of FPV drones in the context of security were also discussed.
Day Two: Practical Exercises
The second day of training was dedicated to practical exercises, which lasted until late in the evening. The scenario assumed the detonation of explosives and the necessity of undertaking forensic-procedural securing actions. Officers simulated the execution of necessary activities at the scene of the explosion. A decontamination vehicle, operated by officers of the Fire and Rescue Unit of the PSP in Olsztyn, was used in the exercises, resulting from procedures for the event of CBRN contamination. The actions were supervised by Inspector Mariusz Wiśniewski, Senior Inspector Krzysztof Sobierajski, and Assistant Inspector Aleksandra Zmitrowicz.
Day Three: Civil Protection and Conclusion
The final day of training began with a lecture by Jarosław Bas, Deputy Director of the Department of Security and Crisis Management of the Provincial Office. The topic of the presentation was the implementation of tasks in the field of civil protection in the Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship. The training was formally concluded by Inspector Mariusz Wiśniewski and Inspector Jacek Jaguszewski.
Throughout the entire exercise, great emphasis was placed on ensuring the safety of the officers themselves, smooth information flow, and effective cooperation between rescue services and state institutions. Command under stress conditions and the speed of coordinating actions between different Police departments and non-police entities were also analyzed. Organizers emphasize that such actions serve to maintain the full operational readiness of specialists to protect the residents of the region.
