The Office for Competition and Consumer Protection (UOKiK) concluded proceedings against six entrepreneurs active in Poland in the promotion of the iGenius platform. The total value of the financial sanctions imposed on the recruiters amounted to 413,000 PLN. The President of UOKiK ruled that these actions constituted a violation of consumers' collective interests, and that the project's structure was based on a pyramid-type promotional scheme.

The Illusion of Financial Independence

According to the Office's findings, the promoted product—digital training in financial management and investing—was merely a pretext for luring more people into the structure. In a statement issued on 21 October 2026, Tomasz Chróstny, President of UOKiK, emphasized that the vision of rapid enrichment and financial freedom without the need for qualifications was merely an illusion. The real source of profit in this project was collecting payments from new participants, whom the group's leaders enticed with promises of easy money. In practice, consumers who joined the program purchased expensive trainings, while further material benefits were to depend on acquiring and retaining additional users under their referral link.

Operations in Poland were conducted by an informal group called GameChangers Polska, active since 2021. Its members used social media and their own websites to run marketing campaigns. They also organized in-person events, where they celebrated promotions within the structure and rewarded individuals achieving specific "ranks," which was intended to motivate even more intensive recruitment.

Fine Amounts and Additional Sanctions

The President of UOKiK issued six separate decisions, penalizing the individual promoters. The highest fine, in the amount of 99,000 PLN, was imposed on Cezary Lewicki. Wioletta Białek was fined 84,000 PLN, and Dominika Janocha 72,000 PLN. Filip Gaworski will pay 60,000 PLN, Adam Biernat 56,000 PLN, and Adrianna Rudnicka 42,000 PLN.

In addition, the President of the Office ordered Adam Biernat to desist from the questioned practice. Regarding the remaining five entrepreneurs, it was determined that they had ceased the problematic activities in September 2025 due to the blocking and removal of their accounts. All fined individuals are obligated to publish a statement about the issued decisions on their websites and in social media. These decisions are not yet final.

New Projects and Company Name Change

UOKiK established that after ending their cooperation with iGenius, most of the penalized individuals did not cease their activities in a model based on affiliate programs. Wioletta Białek, Filip Gaworski, Dominika Janocha, Cezary Lewicki, and Adrianna Rudnicka moved on to promoting the Better Experience (BE) project from Dubai. The Office is currently conducting an investigative procedure in this matter. Adam Biernat, on the other hand, has focused on promoting the UNIQ platform, which offers education in financial markets on a subscription model and also uses an affiliate program to acquire new users. An investigative procedure has also been initiated in this case.

It is worth noting that earlier, at the end of 2025, the President of UOKiK imposed a fine exceeding 14.6 million PLN on the iGenius company itself for violating consumers' collective interests. The company appealed against this decision, and the case is pending before the court. Following a change in legal status, iGenius LLC adopted the name Conectiv LLC and uses the platform conectivglobal.com. As pointed out by the Office, the name change and graphic refresh aim to make it difficult for consumers to identify the company with its previous, controversial activities and negative reviews.
