Warsaw invites residents and guests to spend the upcoming weekend actively, offering a wide range of cultural, sports, and recreational events. From October 22-25, 2026, the capital will become a hub of intense stage life and sports rivalry. The program features theatrical premieres, film and music festivals, including significant commemorations related to jazz and Polish song. Additionally, physical activity enthusiasts can take part in breaking competitions and trail runs, while history lovers can enjoy special museum events.

Musical Hits and Tributes to Legends

The centerpiece of the musical calendar is the 25th edition of the Jazz Jamboree festival, running from October 23 to 25. According to the organizer, this year's edition has a cross-sectional character, presenting the domestic jazz scene in an international context – from small ensembles to extensive special projects. On Saturday, the festival will feature the quartet Brass Riders, offering the audience an energetic performance of hits from Polish films in arrangements by Tomasz Stolarczyk.

The Włochy district, on the occasion of the 125th anniversary of Mieczysław Fogg's birth, has prepared a concert dedicated to the artist's work. The repertoire will include songs such as “Tango Milonga”, “Autumn Roses”, and “It's the Last Sunday”, performed by the 25-member choir and orchestra of the Formacja Tango Para Todos group. Meanwhile, in the Kamedulskie Underground, a “Tribute to Kora” concert will take place. The event will focus on innovative arrangements of Olga Jackowska's (Kora's) songs. A special highlight will be the presence of Kamil Sipowicz, who will share memories of the artist, while the winners of the JoséSong Festival will perform on stage.

Film lovers have several diverse options to choose from. Splat!FilmFest, a festival dedicated to horror, fantasy, thrillers, and black comedies, has begun. The program includes the latest productions, Polish premieres, and meetings with creators. Thrilling films will also appear on screens during CINEMAFORUM – the International Short Film Forum. On Saturday evening, screenings of films with a thriller theme are planned, while on Friday, viewers can watch early works by Hollywood directors such as George Lucas, Robert Zemeckis, Ryan Coogler, and Jon M. Chu. Sunday features a retrospective of creators who once presented their films here and are today important figures in Polish cinematography.

Sports: Breaking, Gymnastics, and Running

The weekend is also an opportunity to cheer during major sporting events. Health, Prevention, and Blood Donation

Pro-health events are also taking place on October 24. As part of the “Bemowo Health Prevention Day – Pink October”, organizers encourage regular preventive check-ups, emphasizing the importance of early disease detection. On the same day, between 9:00 and 14:00, a mobile ambulance from the Regional Center for Blood Donation and Transfusion in Warsaw will be stationed in the G City Targówek parking lot. Residents will be able to donate blood, and participants will receive small gifts from the mall's tenants.

Culture in Museums and Theaters

The Pharmacy Museum is celebrating the 160th anniversary of the birth of its patron, Antonina Leśniewska, the first Polish woman to obtain a higher pharmaceutical education. On Saturday, October 24, all-day celebrations will take place, during which admission to the permanent exhibition and special events will cost a symbolic one zloty. The Warsaw Museum invites you to an educational walk “Between Freedom and Convention”, dedicated to the fates of women from Bolesław Prus's novel “Lalka” (The Doll). Participants will analyze the life choices of Marianna, Helena Stawska, and other heroines in the context of 19th-century social restrictions.

On Saturday, the Theater Komedie will debut the play “What Does Maria Say?” featuring Izabela Dąbrowska. The intimate show, inspired by the work of Maria Czubaszek, focuses on her role as a co-host of a radio program where listeners come with various emotional and life problems.
